Baby Boomers
What do baby boomers want and how do they get it. It has been said
the boomer is like a shockwave and for good reason because when the first of the boomers retire it will be like a shockwave. SS will be hit hard, medicare, retirement housing, enough people to fill jobs and when will all this take place. Not in the future it is now or just around the corner. They say 2011 is the first boomer retiring explosion. Are we ready? I am because I am one of those baby boomers.
Senior Living
People say we become a senior at 52 and I am not to sure where that came from. I think that AARP may have started this to increase their membership. At 52 I was not thinking senior at all. In fact I am having a hard time thinking I am senior at 64 years. I think most seniors start to look about different living arrangements at about 64 when you are actually retiring.
The lifestyle you choose has in the past been more the normal path that most before you took. I think you deserve more than the normal path. New companies have taken this into consideration and are changing from the normal. I am starting to look at these companies as what seniors of today will be looking for in a lifestyle as a senior. We want the future today!!!
Active Senior People
Are you one of those people and do you deserve a lifestyle other than what your parents and some of your older friends have experienced. I think you are one of the people that expect to have the future now. Active senior people need more available ammentities they enjoy and can take advantage of as a person with the ability to socialize, exercise, dine when desired, allow time through the day to do things you personally enjoy and have wonderful common areas to bring friends to visit without making them feel uncomfortable.

There are so many ways that a senior can be taken advantage of today. If you think you are being taken advantage of by someone. It is best to get an attorney to decide if you are, after all we need guidence as we get older. Most of us learn to lean on our families, but what if that is the person that is taking advantage of you. Most likely it is a neighbor or someone close to us. I am sure you are not going to turn over your life to someone that is not a close friend or relative. Looking for an attorney can be daunting, so I would ask your doctor or someone else you can trust to help you find an attorney.

Help for Seniors
It is interesting today in this ecomony to find what works best for each senior's needs. We all are not blessed with having a great job that allowed us to either save for our later years or have a job that had retirement benefits that allow us the money to afford the lifestyle we desire. We all know we need help at some time in our life. Seniors are a large group and growing leaps and bounds. There are different groups to help with some of the needs seniors are experiencing. Finding senior groups that help with the needs of each senior can be a challenge. They are out there and local agencies are usually your best source.
Senior Dating Service
Oh no we won't leave out the question of senior dating. Sorry we might be seventy two but we are just getting started. We still need the company of another person when we have lost some we have been with for a long period of time. So how do we get to know someone else. We don't want to make a lot of mistakes and we don't go to out much anymore. Besides where would we go, we have not gone to a bar or night club for ages and really have no desire. So what is the next way to meet someone that doesn't have habits we think are poor choices. I think I might try a free dating service just to see what they might offer for starters. I would put what I am interested in and I would put what I don't do so I could find a person that would like the same things. You might want to ask other people that have used a senior dating service what their experience was like. Get started out right, but don't beleive anyone that has not actually tried a senior dating service. Ask an experienced person. Most seniors have already tried church.
